How Kidanimo collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

Order: name, delivery address, email address, order history. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

Activation and tracking: activation code, chosen animal, name given to the animal, game progress. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

Support: content of messages sent to support. Legal basis: legitimate interest in replying.

We do not ask for a surname, a date of birth or a photo of the child. The name given to the animal is free and need not be a real first name.

The account is opened and managed by an adult. The child area collects no directly identifying data and shows no advertising.

Strictly necessary providers: hosting and database, payment, shipping, email delivery. No data is sold or rented.

Animal tracking data comes from Movebank and contains no personal data.

Order data: statutory accounting retention period. Adoption account: while the account is active, then deleted on request.

Support messages: twelve months.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Email contact@kidanimo.com; we reply within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

The site only uses cookies necessary for it to work (session, language). No advertising cookie is set without consent.
